The Brooklyn Banks
New York City
1991
Photos by T. Eric Monroe
The world famous Brooklyn Banks has been a mecca for skaters since the 1980’s. In the late 80’s I stated attending skateboard contests at the Banks, and my photography career began at The Brooklyn Banks thanks to Thrasher Magazine.
In 1991, while attending a skate contest at The Brooklyn Banks I found my way to one of the overpasses that over looks the Banks and took two photos from different vantage points.
For years I only viewed the images of the Banks on a contact sheet, and in 2018 I scanned those negatives and eventually shared the shots on my Instagram page @BeyondTdotEric
Recently I was asked if I would make a print of the shots of the Banks, and I am so glad I did! The prints of The Brooklyn Banks share an overview perspectives of the Banks and the crowds of people from two different angles with great detail.
The Brooklyn Banks meant so much to me, and means so much to so many people. For that reason I am offering a set of the two print at 16” x 20” with an approximate 1” black border for $200.00 (shipping not included).
Description 2 - 16” x 20” luster prints with 1” black border around the photo print.
Cost - $200.00
Prints are made to order, and usually ship within 3-days of ordering.
Total price $200.00
